Arsenal and Barcelona agree £32m deal for Alexis Sanchez

Sanchez joins Arsenal
Goal.com report that the Catalan club have accepted the bid from Arsenal, which matches their valuation of the player, and agree to the payment structure that Arsenal proposed.
The Gunners now need to just formalise the deal with Sanchez and then they can complete the signing with club officials reportedly optimistic of agreeing terms with the player.
Sanchez is being chased by Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus but it looks like Arsenal have won the race for the Chilean’s signature.
Arsenal have been desperate to sign another forward to provide competition for Olivier Giroud and Sanchez was the man they identified extremely early on. Goal also report that the player and the club actually met in May when Arsenal sent a delegate to meet with a mystery striker in May.
Sanchez’s replacement at Barcelona could be Liverpool forward Luis Suarez, with the Uruguayan said to be very keen on a move.
Suarez is currently banned from football for four months after biting Italy defender Georgio Chiellini in the World Cup but would still be able to transfer to Barcelona.
